Advocate for the preservation of Lake Accotink so that it remains an accessible community recreation resource, and a vital ecological habitat for wildlife.
Our History:
Our group was organized in 2018 in response to Fairfax County’s announcements about the Lake filling in, and the lack of a plan to respond to the threat.
Our Organization:
We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is run entirely by volunteers. We are funded by donations from the community. All funding is used to communicate the threat faced by the lake.
